HOMICIDE
Cocaine is a powerful central nervous system stimulant. During the first period of drug use, it produces intensified consciousness and a heightened interest in sex and sexual fantasies. Under the influence of cocaine, the user may violently act out his sexual fantasies.
This young woman was attacked in her apartment by an upstairs neighbor who had been watching her for some time. He had her name on a list of possible victims, and he killer her the day before she was planning to move from the apartment complex. While high on cocaine, he stabbed her in the neck 130 times. During the assault, he cut his hand and left a telltale trail of blood which led straight to his apartment.
